Sounds of Venus
Sounds of Venus is an ambient rock band from Boston in the USA. Mario Borgatta, Paige Califano, Josh Canevari, Logan Coats and Nick Susi, although only recently having got together have quickly established a creditable sound.
There is an immediate warmth that flows in to the room, as Sounds of Venus deliver a superbly understated sound which wraps the head in a warming scarf. Complicated song structures are worked out well as the musicians ably work their way through the compositions. The music however, doesn’t become so woven in its own threads that the listener is left to ponder what happened, the brain is washed along with the intricacy of the movement with-out needing to worry, so the sense of relaxation spreads the more the band play.
For a relatively new out-fit they have been able to quickly reach a point of compatibility and the depth of both song-writing and finished article is highly likely to see the band developing a hard-core established following in the none too distant future.
Time is their debut offering.
