The Swing Movement – New release – Keep your eyes Down
The Swing Movement continue with their spate of released material, this time a more melodic rounded sound comes from the band in the shape of Keep Your Eyes Down.
The track opens with the guitar and drum off setting each other, before the voice of Ben Walker takes a grip on the track, with some great effects Keep Your Eyes Down takes me on a surreal trip as the band cleverly take the track through a variety of moods, without loosing the purpose of the direction.
I strangely found myself reminded of the 1970′s Musical of War of the Worlds with David Essex, with the undercurrents of highly creative song writing combined with a distinctive vocal.

I enjoy their prolific output and each release takes on an additional characteristic, I hope 2010 sees them developing a wider fan-base, they certainly deserve it.
