Out Like Pluto
Out Like Pluto is a five piece alternative pop band from Seattle in the USA. Back in 2009 Andy Tyra ( Drums, Guitar, Production), Kari Tarr (Vocal), Mike Pesce (Guitar), Ben Ahroni (Guitar) and Jeremy Hynoski (Bass) got together and have since then been gathering an expanding fan-base through their live performances. In January 2012 they released a ten track LP Take Cover.
I Want a Party – could equally become the name associated with Out Like Pluto, this is feel-good alternative rock with a zip of pop to lighten the mood. Drawing on the ’90s the band is fronted by the rock style vocals of Kari, which sits as an engrossing counter-balance to the depth of melody which emerges form the full use of the guitars available, whilst Bass and Drum shake the body in to party mode.
This is a well formed quintet who have every opportunity of breaking to a wider audience, it has much to attract fans from a breadth of genre interests. Rock ’n’ Roll being the esprit de corps that is delivered with well composed tracks that capture the listener as they deliver a range of tempos and formations, all of which encapsulate the essence of fun. They have managed to bridge the gap between music that is serious turning it in to music that emerges as – I Want a Party.
