You may well wonder why it has taken so long to review MS MR the alt-pop duo of Max and Lizzy based in New York in the USA.
MS MR
Lizzy is originally from London and Max was born in Seattle and they have found a natural space in New York – this is a duo I have enjoyed for a while.
Joyful sounds spin around the room engaging the body in a ride of convulsions. The music is very simple and it is that basic tempo and naturalness that engages the listener, forcing them to get involved. The audience finds themselves dancing around a pyre of fire, just enjoying life for what it is.
For an electro focussed out-fit, MS MR is able to translate that to a basal level in which the bone marrow shivers in time.
