LickSpittle – Single – Steve McQueen
A little while ago I received some information from Luke at Mostar Records about a new single Steve McQueen, by LickSpittle.

LickSpittle are an outfit from London, who have a sound which takes dashes of Devo, Talking Heads and Television, with a soupçon of nineties electronics, they pour it in to a cocktail shaker and pour out a refreshing melody, which is best served chilled.
Enough of the analogies, Steve McQueen – is a well constructed release, with a great sense of timing, staccato guitar chords are superbly synchopated with drum and vocal, creating an ever developing sound-scape. LickSpittle have delivered a first rate debut release and it will be interesting to see where they go next.
There is only a limited teaser video for the release, I hope they get round to making a fuller video, but at least it gives a flavour Steve McQueen, which is currently available on
