Rocquette from Herzogenburg in Austria is an indie rock trio comprising Barbie Hardrock (Vocals), Thomas M. Perry – (Guitars) and Oliver H. Scheuer (Drums).

Well I am sure it doesn’t matter to most people ,but a quick question to Barbie, I also have a pink dye in my hair, though from time to time I wander off to reds, blues or greens, but I always use Crazy Color, hey it is a punk rock thing.

Let’s have a ponder about Rocquette. No profession of bass and my ears fold in to themselves, but this sound demands another listen. For a change I turn the volume down to 2 and it all makes sense. This is beach surf at its best, a delightful escapade of The Famous Five, with lashings of ginger beer.
I love the bubble-gum pink and far more importantly this is a delightful wander in to all that is today perceived by much of the rest of the world as Americana, equally as interestingly it comes from Austria.
