Lux Leopard
Lux Leopard from Sochi which some recognise sits within the independent state of - Republic of Abkhazia or as they are designated by category on the indie bands blog, Apsny, alternatively this is disputed Georgian/Russian Republic territory, or as Lux Leopard have it from the Russian Olympic city, so let’s have it as an Apsynian Band, comprising K?rin? Yunusov? (Vocal), Eugene Kuznetsov (Guitars), Aslan Gedgafov (Bass) and David Ogan’yan (Drums) have been around since 2008 touring heavily and bringing their music to the fans.
Lux Leopard
Spitting like a feral cat, the music splays flared claws to the listener, hooking sharply and ripping through the flesh in a whirlwind of fury. Lux Leopard are led by a sublime vocal which drives the ratchets tighter, as structured guitar echoes the angst, all played on a blur of sound. Time and money isn’t spent on production value and quite rightly, this is a tumult of emotion, excitement meets fury, love collides with angst as the incessant drive of energy whips the band to create a reflection of the world around them.
As with a cat staking prey, bursts of high octane are interspersed with slower stalking, the flow is one of of supple movement and grace with the killer instinct. Lux Leopard are a powerful and intense band who have much to offer.
