There are many artists out there, who are producing vocal only music, Bauchklang have that ability to make you wonder if there isn’t a backing track playing after all, which is no mean feat for an a capella out-fit.
While their main style of hip-hop and Drum’n'Bass isn’t where my ears are tuned, they are without an impressive outfit and definately a band to go and see. They add that creativity which is the driver to reviewing bands on the indie bands blog.
Comprising Andreas Fraenzl (Lead vocals), Gerald Huber (Human Beatbox), Christian Birawsky (Mouthpercussion), Alex Boeck (Bass), Philipp Sageder (Vocal Sounds) they became an almost instant hit in India and have recently released ‘Live in Mumbai’, their first ever live album. Bauchklang are currently touring in Southern Europe after a recent appearance at the Ladakh Confluence.
If you have a band you would like to bring to the attention of the Indie Bands Blog, just send me a note using the contact form.
