Temposhark

In 2004, Robert Damient began to form the idea of creating his own band, having recorded and written with and for other artists, so was formed Temposhark.

Rather than work through the major labels, Robert started his own record label, Paper and Glue from which Temposhark originally released limited edition singles. The output of releases has been consistent, with the debut Album, released last year and a further digital single, ‘The world does not revolve around you’ set for release this month.

Making good use of the web to spread their music, allied with great reviews both online and in the media Temposhark have established a strong on-line following, which also translates to well supported live appearances.

The current  line up of Robert Diament (singer), Mark Ferguson (bass), Mathis Richet (drums) and Leila MacFie (keyboards) can regularly be seen, both here in the UK and abroad, North America, in particular.

September sees shows supporting the release of their new release, together with an acoustic set at the September 2009 GAP1969 event (information here and full details  here), where they will be playing at 18:00 Friday 25th September.
