Taking simple starting points, Quack Quack develop the theme to what seems like its inevitable conclusion, before a change of tempo or lead instrument, changes the piece into a cleverly crafted piece of musicianship.

It is good to be able to review bands who get off the beaten track and Quack Quack do this in no small way. Not easily categorized, their musical influences are wide ranging, which reflects in the music the trio play.

The music works as effectively in live performance as it does recorded, the material being released on Run of the Mill Records. Catching them live isn’t too difficult as they have always had an extensive gig list.
