Billy One Move from Manchester in England is an indie rock band comprising Adam Postlethwaite (Guitar), Adrian Fairweather (Drums), André Fairweather (Vocals), Chris Charleston (Bass) and Mark Durkin (Guitar).

Wandering across a plethora of sounds the constant mast, like the flag bearer on a battle field, is the emotional charged lyric and on the button vocal which drips with sensitivity. I have become ever more converted the the incredible power of Northern English accents to the sympathetic resonances, I would posit the vocal derives from further to the North East than Manchester, reminded as I am of Paul Liddell.
Interestingly whilst the the vocals are touching emotional riven concepts, the music is charged with metal rock, slowed by the buffeting sentiments. It is this, on the face of it bizarre, combination which makes for Billy One Move to intrigue the ears. I sit in admiration of a band who have the ability to bring such disparate sounds together and pull it off so well.
Billy One Move quite evidently will be suited to big stages and recorded material so the early stages of development may take some negotiation, but if you catch them live as they develop, then take time to consider this is a band that needs decent sound engineering and space, else the duality inevitably becomes lost – keep them in the radar.
